On March 10, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held the inaugural session of the "Industry Frontier" Lecture Series. The event was chaired by CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin. The session featured a special presentation on biotechnology and biomedicine delivered by Academician Zhou Qi, Vice President and a member of the CPC leadership group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Academician Zhou provided a systematic and in-depth explanation of key topics, including the overall trends in cutting-edge biotechnology development, the opportunities and challenges that China's biomedical industry faces, and the strategic deployment of national scientific and technological capabilities. His address offered attendees professional, authoritative, and forward-looking guidance with practical insights.

The event was attended by Vice Chairs of the CCPIT, all officials from its headquarter, and officials at or above the middle level from its directly affiliated institutions.
